What animals can I see at the San Diego Zoo?

Get ready to explore the creatures and critters that call all seven continents home. Start on the northern frontier with foxes, wolves, mountain lions, polar bears and reindeer. Then head further south and discover favorites like penguins, lions, tigers, elephants, camels and Komodo dragons. Giant pandas, giraffes, gorillas, hippos and colorful birds like macaws and flamingos are also waiting to greet you, along with snakes, monkeys, tapirs and wombats, too.

How long should I spend at the San Diego Zoo?

With so much to explore in the country's largest zoo, you can easily spend several days checking out all the crazy critters and cuddly animals that live here. Not to mention all the hands-on experiences and special tours that are available, too. The best way to see and do it all is with a multi-day pass that gives you one visit to the San Diego Zoo & one visit to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park or the Go San Diego Card for 3-day, all inclusive admission to both.
