An unforgettable day, 02/22/20! Not only is this an easy anniversary to remember, the wedding couple made such a fun and epic party that no one will forget!
Molly and Dan were planning from their home in Los Angeles, but found The Lafayette to be their perfect San Diego wedding venue. With friends and family in the local area, plus a few staying at the hotel for a long weekend getaway, the hotel made for an easy spot to celebrate. Molly and her bridal entourage started the wedding day off in the Penthouse Suite. Dan and the gents were having fun in our 2-story Bungalow, far enough away to not spot the bride before the First Look.
That February afternoon we lucked out. The forecasted rain disappeared in the morning. Only a few other hotel guests wandered through the lobby area, so the couple was able to snap some amazing shots in front of the Weissmuller Pool and in the front driveway.
The ceremony was set with a mix of our colorful sofa sectionals and vintage benches. Molly's Mother walked her down the aisle, huge smiles beaming from their faces as she gave her away.
The reception took place in the infamous Mississippi Ballroom. Molly and Dan took the stage with their Sweetheart Table featuring a custom gobo by their DJ. Each of the table numbers had custom art designed by a friend to feature a unique Palindrome. You may have heard of "Racecar" but what about "Taco Cat" or "Dior Droid"? The bridal party brought along cut-outs of Molly's favorite singers: Beyonce and Prince. And of course the whole party was dancing to hit songs throughout the evening, everyone wanting the chance to dance with the legends.
