Mini-mony, Mini-mony make me a match. We all know 2020 was full of firsts, but a highlight for our team was being able to still make magic happen at a micro level.
Sea-Anna and Drew had big wedding ideas, but Plan A was ruined by COVID, initially set for the fall of 2020. Instead of waiting to see how things would play out, they decided to take their wedding into their own hands and pull a 180. We went from a completely indoor ceremony and reception, to Plan B, an outdoor mini-mony and seated outdoor cocktail reception for 25. Switching to summer, they were able to make a full weekend out of it, by arriving a day early and booking our Cabana for poolside relaxation.
The wedding party took well to our safety protocols, with mask wearing and no dance floor. Tables were assigned by household, all 6 feet apart. For those who weren't able to attend, a close friend streamed the ceremony. Since it was public, a few strangers became lucky viewers to the couple saying their vows.
Sea-Anna and Drew were our first couple to be part of our Mini-mony experience and were amazing with how flexible they were. Thank you both for trusting The Lafayette to make your wedding a reality!
