Friends and local patrons of the Lafayette Hotel, please read the following carefully.
There has been some confusion regarding ‘Family Swim’. As much as we’d love to open our pool to neighbors and their children every day; it’s just not possible. ‘Family Swim’ was originally intended for Hotel Guests only.
However, do to overwhelming demand, every Wednesday through the end of the summer we’ve decided to open the Weissmuller Pool to neighborhood families from noon until 6pm. Here are the details:
- Wednesday’s 12pm until 6pm.
- Up to three (minors) per adult.
- All minors must be accompanied by an adult. Bartenders do not make good babysitters.
- The bar opens at noon. Hot dog and potato chip “happy meals” will be available for $5, so please no trips to the grocery store.
- Please clean up after yourself and keep the pool toys and noise volumes to a minimum.
- Please respect that this is not a public pool.
- Take a moment and read the last one again. North Park has an awesome public pool just a few blocks away, and the Pacific Ocean ain’t too shabby either.
Our intent is to allow the awesome families in our equally awesome neighborhood a chance to cool off and enjoy themselves. Be cool and we’re happy to have you.
